<a href="">Leslie</a>

Growing up in a neighboring community (Saratoga) I can tell you that, generally, Los Gatos is a great place. The schools are really good, especially the high school. The people tend to be on the wealthier side, but besides buying nice cars and building huge houses up in the hills, the towns citizens are very level headed and down to earth. Because the town is nestled against the Santa Cruz Mountains (the beach is only 30 min away) part of the towns charm is its fusion of small town and modern feel. All in all it is a great place to live.

wealthy wealthy. not anything to do if you can't drive out of the area or if you don't have money to spend. the schools are really nice, i know there are instances of students being really judgmental, but that comes with every high school. if you like little coffee shops, there are a lot to hang out at. also check out petroglyph, where you can paint ceramics. there are a lot of really awesome trails around los gatos creek park, and you can also check out vasona park.

<a href="">Calvin</a>

Los Gatos is close enough to take advantage of the attractions of San Jose and San Francisco, yet it is removed just enough to have some little quieter neighborhoods.
Public transport is fair to good. There are malls not too far away and Los Gatos downtown has lots of shops and restaurants. Good for hanging out or getting a part time job (when your a little older). The weather is pretty good all year. Good for outdoor activates and sports. There are plenty of churches with good youth group programs. The general population seems to be a bit on the well off side, but for the most part are quite friendly and accepting.
Welcome to the area!

Los Gatos has a diverse population. It's a generally wealthy town with many, many million-dollar homes, though some of the smaller and older homes aren't in that price range. It's in Silicon Valley and is a popular area for high-tech execs.

The school system is one of the best in California. Los Gatos High School is top-notch. Los Gatos has a great "downtown" area with lots of shops and restaurants and is a popular hangout for teens and young adults.
